Continuing education is a big part of The Study’s commitment to lifelong learning. Through our short courses, we are able to offer our students skills boosters which help them advance their development–whether they’re looking to further their careers or nurture their passion projects. 

Lifestyle Courses

44.) Photography and Lighting

Photography & Lighting

Our three-part photography course focuses on portraiture and lighting to capture different emotions and styles of photography. The course explores working with natural light, photography for studio lighting with an emphasis on fashion, and manipulating light for more conceptual photographs. Participants will come away with a body of work that can be exhibited or collected into a photography portfolio.

45.) Sketching


Our sketching course focuses on developing students’ skills with contouring, drawing dimensions, identifying proper scaling, and executing shading, given various types of light sources. Divided into three parts, this course focuses on a specific technique per session, ensuring that students come away from the class with a body of work that they can be proud of.

46.) Soap Making

Soap Making

Soaps and bath bombs turn a simple shower into a luxury cleansing experience. Our soap making course allows participants to create their own artisanal blends which they can recreate for personal use, as small business ventures, or as gifts for loved ones.

46.) String Gardens and Succulents

String Gardens & Succulents

This two-day short course focuses on creating two varieties of indoor gardens: kokedamas and plated succulents. The course covers the fundamentals of indoor gardening (selecting soil, the different methods) but focuses on the hands-on methods of designing and creating indoor arrangements, giving participants the chance to create their own green decorations and air fresheners.

47.) DJ 101

DJ 101

This one-day course features the best professional DJs as instructors, giving participants the chance to learn the fundamentals of spinning, scratching, creating playlists, and setting the party mood from the very best. While the class integrates theory into its flow, it focuses more on equipping participants with skills they can apply to their own DJ-ing practice.

Strategic Entrepreneurial Management

This course gives participants the chance to elevate their brand’s strategies and transform their businesses by equipping them with entrepreneurial management know-how. Through a workshop that features immersive lectures, in-depth case study analysis and hands-on exercises, participants will come away from the class with practical management techniques.

50.) Accounting for Non-Accountants(2)

Accounting for Non-Accountants

This three-session course focuses on practical accounting skills for small business owners. It teaches participants how to standardize their business practices and keep in compliance with BIR policies. The course touches on both bookkeeping and taxation practices; participants are encouraged to work with their own businesses in mind.

52.) Ducasse Culinary and Pastry Courses

Ducasse Culinary & Pastry Courses

Borne out of Enderun’s collaboration with Ducasse Education, The Study’s Ducasse Culinary & Pastry Courses offer participants high-caliber techniques, skills, and recipes. Participants come away from the class with high-level kitchen skills, allowing them to recreate modern culinary masterpieces.

Culinary Foundations

This course is an introduction to the world of culinary arts at the professional level, putting an emphasis on the mastery and reinvention of classic dishes. With a focus on running and working in the kitchen, participants will come away equipped with the skills needed to work in the culinary industry.

Asian Flavors

Featuring recipes and cuisine from all over Asia, this course offers participants the chance to acquire unique culinary skills--whether it’s making dumplings from scratch, rolling sushi, or creating the perfect bowl of pho.

55.) Basic Pastry Techniques

Basic Pastry Techniques

A little sugar makes a big difference--this class gives beginners an introduction into the world of making pastries from scratch. Participants are equipped with the skills they need to make their own sweet selections at home.

Kiddie Courses

57.) Robotics


Thinking outside the box and being solution-driven are two of the most needed skills for kids to excel in a tech-centric world. Featuring our new EV3 Mindstorm Lego Kits, this course provides students with the resources to design, build and program functional robots. No previous robotics experience is needed.

58.) Coding


This course focuses on fundamental programming skills using an exciting application known as App Inventor 2, a web application maintained by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). With no coding experience required, kids are given the opportunity to create applications, or “apps,” for Android smartphones and tablets through a Screen Designer and Blocks Editor.

59.) Futsal


In partnership with Cruzeiro, this course is an after-school futsal program which gives kids the chance to learn football in a comprehensive way by focusing on the four types of skills: tactical, technical, physical, and mental. The lessons are divided into four parts which focus on each of Cruzeiro’s pillars: Love of the Game, Skills Acquisition, Game Training & Performance.

Confidence and self-esteem are crucial for kids’ personal development--it helps them excel in school and gives them the interpersonal skills they need to foster healthy relationships. Through a series of workshop activities and immersive discussions, this course focuses on soft skills like empathy, communication, critical thinking, and perseverance.

ServSafe is an internationally accepted food safety and certification program that is recognized by the American National Standards Institute and the National Restaurant Association (USA). Valid for 5 years and verifiable online, a ServSafe Certification gives participants the competitive employment advantage.

A beginner level introduction to wine suitable for those starting a wine career or pursuing an interest in wine. For individuals new to wine study, this qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately, and make food and wine pairings. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.

WSET’s Level 2 Award in Wines is a beginner- to intermediate-level qualification exploring wines, suitable for industry professionals and wine enthusiasts. This qualification is intended for beginners wishing to learn about a wide range of wines or those seeking to build on the introductory knowledge gained with the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines. You’ll gain knowledge of the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce. Through a combination of tasting and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence.
