Showcase your speaking prowess with this course! Learners shall be able to enrich their speaking skills through diverse activities where they will learn the art of defending a topic, persuading a group, discussing important issues and many more. Topics on facial expressions, body language, volume, tone, and delivery shall be covered in this course.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the program, the club members are expected to:

  1. Improve pronunciation skills;
  2. Be more confident in speaking; and
  3. Apply useful vocabulary or phrases in a variety of speaking topics

Instructors

Karla Bernardez

Karla Bernardez has a degree in Communication Arts, Major in Speech Communication from the University of the Philippines Los Banos. She has over 15 years of experience in ESL teaching. She has co-authored a listening module for beginners and has created a program called Language on Foot. She is also an experienced communications and personality development trainer for elementary and secondary teachers. She has taught language and communications to Japanese individuals and groups in an IT firm. She does freelance work as a facilitator in a center specializing in personality development. At The Study by Enderun, she handles Social Clubs, Personality Development/Etiquette, Business English, and other specialized classes.
