Developing fluency and the confidence to speak a new language are rooted in practice. The Social English Program, Enderun Extension’s flaship English as a Second Language (ESL) program, is designed to equip students with the communication skills that they need to thrive in a competitive, globalized world. In addition to tackling the technicalities of the language, the Social English Program also focuses on everyday role-play situations wherein students are able to ground their skills in day-to-day contexts. With topics revolving every session, students are expected to come away from the course with wider vocabularies and the ability to communicate in a variety of scenarios. Begin your journey to fluency when you sign up here:

Learning Objectives

At the end of the course, students are expected to:
1. Identify the appropriate responses to a variety of day-to-day situations;
2. Execute pronunciation and grammatical techniques correctly and appropriately;
3. Formulate their own conversational responses in a manner that’s spontaneous and context-specific.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the program, the students will be able to:

  • Note and infer details;
  • Utilize technology to aid in learning;
  • Develop mastery of the basic skills in speaking and listening;
  • Deliver speeches and presentations in front of a large group of people;
  • Communicate with others confidently in a variety of social and cultural contexts.
